The show is about thieves—albeit inept ones—that are trying to steal a coin collection. The original play, which hit Broadway in 1977, starred Robert Duvall, John Savage and Kenneth Macmillan. Another revival in 1983 starred Al Pacino and an off-Broadway revival had William H. Macy in 2000. The story was also made into a movie in 1996 and starred Dustin Hoffman.
