What will make my home movies sound better? Is a microphone?

I’m planning on making a home movie this weekend, but I want it to get better sound. I use a Sony Digital Camcorder to make the movies. Do I need a microphone? If so where can I get one from?

The job and records well inside if you just want some cheap crapola mic and improve your same position bought rode.
