I’m not sure where you live but in SC I went to Circuit City and bought a DVD/VHS combo recorder and you simply Play the VHS tape in one side and record to a DVD on the other side. I think it was about $139.00. Good Luck

hi,what angela said is ok if your tapes are homemade but it WONT work if your tapes are commercialy made or bought from a shop because these tapes will have copy protection on them which will not allow you to copy them. they can be copied using a computer which has the program ( illegal ) that will break the protection but i cannot tell you about it because it is illegal,perhaps you have a computer geek friend that will help you in this matter.–cheers–
